"Yay, more toys." I said.
"Hey!" replied MooK DaDDy, the victim of my theft.
"Hey, how's it goin?" I answered mockingly.
"Fuckin thieves! Asshole." he replied.
Gee why so mad? I only stole a few ignots.
"If you are upset, then kill me. If not, then be
quiet." I said and then left.
Later that evening I returned to find MooK DaDDy armed
with a halberd and wearing some plate, along with a friend named Eramis
the Grim (or something like that.)
"That's him." said MooK.
"Warik?" asked Eramis
"Yep."
"Hi I'm Warik, what can I do for you?" I asked.
"So... you bothering miners?" asked Eramis.
"No, just MooK." I said.
"Let's kill him." suggested MooK.
"Hmm..." I said.
I didn't know I was still flagged criminal, so I assumed
he wouldn't attack. I was surprised when I saw the MooK DaDDy is
attacking you message, but I didn't care. I entered war mode.
"Let's dance." I told him, then began sticking holes
all over his chest.
"Corp Por" said Eramis... many times, too bad for
him (and MooK) that the spell never succeeded.
MooK had dropped to half HP and I was practically unscratched,
he asked Eramis for a heal which he received and brought him back to full.
We continued fighting.
"Uhhh dude you need help?" asked Sauron.
"Nah." I said.
"Oh well too bad." replied Sauron as he unloaded
some arrows into MooK.
After me hitting MooK a few times and Sauron releasing
a few arrows into his back, he dropped face first and made a noise which
I always love hearing. You know... the one that sounds like "UGNNN."
After brief laughter, Sauron and I walked over to the corpse and picked
it clean. MooK had nothing of value on him except some plate legs
of defense and some mundane armor which I was going to sell. I then
turned my attention over to his friend.
"You want some too?" I asked Eramis.
Apparently he did, because he attacked me just after I
finished my sentence. He dismounted off his horse and then approached
me.
"Kill Smelly." I told Sauron.
Evidently I told him too late, because he was already
taking down the man's horse before I could get a breath out. Meanwhile,
Eramis was doing quite well for himself against me. He was equipped
with a massive, surpassingly accurate hammer pick of force. I was
equipped with a short spear, the fight was impossible to win for me so
I walked away.
Even later that night we met up again, in the same cave.
He wanted to kill me some more, and I had no objection. No objection
because I stole his hammer pick before he could even threaten me (smiles.)
He pulled out his magic heavy crossbow and was preparing to attack me before
I stole some of his bolts, 56 to be exact (he had 62 total.) I was
shot for about 10 damage, I moved into a small subcave thus moving out
of his line of sight and making myself safe. I healed up then ran
outside and stole the rest of his bolts before he could re-attack me.
"Now we can play." I laughed as I began hurting
him quite badly.
He began to run off through the cave, I gave chased until
he was down to 1/3 his HP and recalled.
"Sigh." I said as I returned to the bank to deposit
my new toys, I found my little buddy Eramis there so I decided to continue
our little confrontation. He was dropped to 1/3 HP once again and
then recalled. I never saw him again that night.
Moral of this Story: If
you're going to double-team someone, maybe both people should attack at
the same time (hint hint Eramis.) Also, never go back to where your
opponent can re-attack you if you're still flagged criminal, it's stupid
and it's suicide.
