I was at the blacksmith's with my friend dryl doing a little window shopping when a thief runs into town. "Some guys are behind the cemetery attacking thieves that run into their house!" This of course interested no others at the blacksmith since the majority were NPKs anyway. So, dryl and I decided to investigate the matter further.
As soon as we get into the graveyard we are attacked. No Surprise :) dryl and I are like Hitlers of the graveyard (no offense intended here). dryl got preoccupied, so I moved on to find out what all the Hoopla was about. As I exit the back of the cemetery, I immediately see an opened door beckoning me to enter. So I did :)
I made a mad dash for the door (they would have reopened it for me anyway) and made it inside and immediately hid. Now I was of course in my usual attire of a deathrobe and no weapon, so I immediately started snooping the 2 characters present whose names I cant remember. One was an archer and the other a mage.
Immediately I steal all the archers arrows revealing myself to the assailants. I quickly hide again as the archer has no arrows. He of course attacked me but this was back when you could hide while being attacked. The mage didn't have time to ebolt me before I had hidden...since he was an incompetent mage I decided that he was prolly also an incompetent archer so I stole his nifty magic bow :) Now of course the archer whose arrows I had stolen was still attacking me, but w/o arrows so I decided to return the favor and attacked her. Four quick hits and *HWOOOOOAAHHHH!*, face in the dirt :)
Due to a bug which I reported to OSI, Slick has 114 dexterity and those arrows were flying pretty quickly. Now, however, I had a problem. You see that mage didn't like me attacking his friend so he had started slinging ebolts in my general direction. Apparently he was not much of a mage, for they were only doing about 15 damage each, but I only have 63 str so I was gettin beaten down. Also, I don't like to use heals in battle and besides, I didn't have any anyway.
Well, luck was on my side that day :) I was at about 20 health and he was about at half health when dryl walks up to the house. Of course, I felt he would want to check out the nice furnishings of this house so I let him in :) Apparently 2 archers was 2 too many for this mage because his health was all red when he said, "Kal Ort Por" and vanished from sight. To our delight, he recalled right outside his house...dryl quickly ran outside and the lovely sound *HWOOOOOAAHHHHH!* rang through the air as he fell to the ground. After a bit of shit talking, we looted the house and trashed the furniture and of course, we changed the sign to "Don't F*#$ with Thieves". Living up to my promise to rid Britannia of houses, the house was rotted in 2 weeks and lag had been decreased :) Indeed a profitable day.....
