Me and my friend, magus, were going around the orc fort killing orcs and then moving on to the cemetery area for some liches and bone knights. Magus starts e-bolting a lich when I hear the familiar sound of "Uuhhh!"

Wow, someone died and was nice enough to let me loot them! I wander around looking for the corpse hitting allnames as I go (very bad habit in high lag areas). I wander upon the corpse of Makial (I think that was his name) and begin to help my self to the "8 items, 40 stones" bag. Half way through my looting a chick on a horse (I didn't catch the name but she was the GuildMistress of VoW) wanders up and begins to loot also. I decide that this is bad and that I don't feel like sharing. I take out my GM bow and smack her twice with it. She begins to cast E-Bolt on me but decides against it after she is at 30% health. She downs a GHeal and takes out her bow to try to kill me. 3 shots later she is near death and recalls. After I finish looting the corpse Magus comes around looking for me. He sees the corpse and begins to bitch at me for looting it all. I give him the regent bag and recall to town.

As I am going to sell the plate I got off of Makial I notice that I got a magic plate helm. I decide to ID it and HOLY SHIT! "A durable plate helm of INVULNERABILITY!" Well, needless to say the provisioner wasn't gonna buy that for a pathetic 99gp! I quickly drop my loot off at the bank and go back to the fort.

20 minutes later Makial wanders back and says "Thanks Ozmo. Can I have my stuff back now?" Obviously this dumbass thought I had risked my life to protect his stuff. "Sorry, but no" I replied. He walked off screen and seconds later 3 E-Bolts came flying in my direction. I forgot to put magic reflect on after the bone magis took it off but I quickly remembered. *Thwap*! *Thwap*! My bow hit hard and fast. I run like hell at my 37 hp and heal twice and throw on magic reflect. I return and proceed to hit him 5 times before he recalls away at what looked like no health.

later that day Makial and his friend return and E-Bolt me to death but hey, I got free plate and regents out of it and all I lost was my bone armor. I think that was a fair trade, don't you?
