I was in Deceit helping a RL friend of mine learn the ropes. He is a hell newbie who barely even knows how to run instead of walk. So, we're down in the skeleton room just trying to give him the basic feel of combat, how monsters follow you, etc.

In comes a thief. My friend, Anger, doesn't know what to look for, so I tell him to bring up his paperdoll, how close they have to be to snoop and steal. The thief, Hum De Dum, says that if we don't bother him while he steals from other people, he won't bother my newbie friend. That was fine by me, for two reasons:

1> My friend was having enough trouble as it was
2> I have a thief and him stealing from other people doesn't bother me at all

So, he proceeds to jack this guy names Sucrose who runs up to me saying "help me kill the thief". I tell him it's not my fight and to be a man and fight his own fights. Well, he's a pussy so he doesn't. He runs off to find someone who will 2on1 the thief with him and they attack Hum De Dum. Hum is in an Order guild and shows to have far more skill with pvp than both these fools, but 2on1 from archers wore him down and he eventually recalled out.

Sucrose then goes on to say that Hum De Dum sucked. I told him that he was a moron and that anyone who runs around begging for help to take on a thief that "sucks" must suck pretty bad himself.

He tried to defend himself and I plainly told him that anyone can talk and that from what I'd seen his actions were far more impression making than anything he could try to say. He then said something he's probably still shaking his head about.

"Go gray then motherfucker"

"Gladly!"

I instantly attack Anger to go gray. Suddenly, Sucrose runs out of the skeleton cell area and doesn't stop to fight. I run after him screaming the he should fight. He stops and says "not in front of your friend". Hahahah... ok, like my newbie friend was going to help me.

So, I tell Anger to sit tight and that I would be right back. Sucrose leads me to the room outside the thin hall leading to the skeleton area. He finally attacks me. YAY!

I think he realized in about 2 hxbow bolts that he was in trouble. He healed once for each and then ran. I cast an ebolt, re-armed my hxbow and gave chase. He stopped just before the stairs leading up to the water elemental room and decided he would fight it out.

One hxbow bolt and a quick dis-arm and cast ebolt and he's in trouble. He takes of running toward the water ele room as I cast another ebolt. Ha makes it through the doors and I'm almost within line of sight to hit him. Two seconds later :

I ran back to Anger and Hum De Dum (he'd recalled back to try to finish off Sucrose) wearing that COOL true black outfit that Sucrose's corpse was wearing moments before.

"How do you like my new outfit?"

We all had a good laugh and I gave my newbie friend the newbie true black clothes...
