This story takes place in the town of Brit
Selling your skills is a difficult task at times. Take poisoning for instance. There I am, MR.PINK, a GM alchemist with a 98 in poisoning,
standing outside the First Bank of Brit Yelling," Get your poisoning done
here! Only 200 gp!"and do you think anyone would bite? Nooo. So I edit my speech to include,"Get your first
weapon done for free!!"
Well at that I got a few bites. But not enough to make standing there any fun at all. Soon a Knightof so and so comes up and asks me if I am GM poisoner. I say "Nope, but I am at 98 skill." He says he will wait till I am GM! LOL I say.
Then out of the corner of my eye I see an opportunity. I say to Knightso and so"Would you like a demonstration? Free of charge?"
He *chuckles* and says sure. While I was standing around with my thumb up my ass trying to sell my skill I had noticed a mage who must have just gotten enough brains to cast polymorph in town.
;]
I attack this Deamon and "Tang" you have poisoned so and so. I back up and then para him.
It is suprising how much an event like this is welcomed by so many people because not only did his cries for CURE go unanswered, but he
infact drew a crowd of people guessing when he would die. I hear the inevitable death groan of the fallen, give the
crowd the old *waves to the crowd* routine and no sooner then that I have a ton of business.
I have to thank that newbie mage. If he reads this letter THANK YOU for helping me with my business who ever you are. ;]
PS. Newbies do have a use.
*winks knowingly*
