I rounded a building and stumbled across an Air Elemental that quickly decided I should be its lunch. It quickly ebolted me and closed in to do battle. I noticed had little room to maneuver so I returned the favor with a ebolt of my own which took me awhile to cast (anyone knows if you stand toe-to-toe with an Air Elemental it is very hard to cast any spell due to the massive interruptions). I finally got it off when I was then attacked by the horseman who was following me earlier, a fool named Putz.
Well, between Putz's halberd and the Air Elemental ebolting me again (ugh). I cast a greater heal and drank a potion of the same and decided it was time for a strategic change of local and recalled to a spot I happened to have marked about a screen away. I then ran back knowing my buddy the Air Elemental would now be playing with Putz like a rag doll. I was right, when I rounded the building again I saw Putz at half life, but also noticed a new person had showed up(didn't catch the name) but was keeping his distance.
I quickly ebolted Putz and whipped out the x-bow when he turned to run. Two steps and ughh… he died, right next to the other fellow. I walked over and started to loot his corpse, while holding off my buddy the Elemental with my other hand. A wandering healer happened to be right there and ressed Putz. I let him breath while I collected my new stuff and the third party started to heal Putz and asked Putz if he knew me. Heheh, he does now I thought.
Putz turned to me and said "you're a $%#@" to which I laughed and shot him again(hmm, attacking someone while they are busy getting an air enema, where did I see that?). He got the message and didn't say another word while I hacked up his body and then letting out a hearty "later boys" led my buddy the Elemental off down the screen where I could send him to eternal peace without distraction.
One thing I did notice is that Putz had a lot of greater heals on him that he could have tried to use. I use to be bad at this myself, getting so caught up in the fight that I would forget the basic rule-you got to be breathing to be fighting. And don't feel bad for him I did let his horse live even though its owner proved to be a real Putz.
