I had decided that night to become a pk, my 2 friends that I was hunting
with were both GM Archer Murderers. We were all wearing the same colors,
so it was obvious we were together (Plus the fact that we each have the
same guild initials over us). We each had a horse and since I only had 3
kills so far, I would be the bait for our pking.
Both my friends (who I will just call Dave and Sam) were hiding near a
waterfall, then I saw my first victim. It was a man with full bone armor
and equipped with a halberd. Although I was supposed to have him attack me
then have him chase me back to my friends, I figured I could take him
myself.
"Hey man." I said.
"hello" he responded.
The next words were "JoeTheBum is attacking you!"
All it took was 3 bolts from my heavy crossbow and he was on the eating
dirt. I looted the corpse then went to find someone else.
I searched for a few minutes then found a miner and a guy in full plate
with a magic mace. I ICQed my 2 pals, we met up and then attacked. Since
the miner wasn't a threat, we attacked the guy in plate. From 1 hit from
each of our crossbow bolts, he was near death. He immediately recalled out
and we had to search for the next victim (we let the miner live).
We decided to split up, Sam went one way and Dave and I searched the other
direction. It didn't take long until we saw a mage in magic full plate.
He started to run the other directions when he saw "JoeTheBum and Dave are
attacking you!" We gave chase, then noticed he stopped. We figured he
lost connection, realizing he wouldn't be froze up much longer, we made
quick work of him. A few bolts from both of us and he made the sound that
I love to hear "HHURNNHHH!"
As we looted the body, we noticed there was a keyring and a rune entitled
"Tower"! Since the character I was playing wasn't able to recall, Dave
decided to loot it. In about 15 minutes we met up again and he told me
that the Tower had a chest filled with magic weapons, and a chest of magic
plate, plus tons of regs. We had obviously hit the jackpot! Sam went with
him for the second haul and unloaded it all.
After they had put everything in their house, we decided to go to the
Cove Graveyard. Since I was still not a murderer, I staked out the
situation. I saw a guy in full plate that looked like he would be easy,
and an archer in bone armor.
When Dave entered the scene, I yelled "A pk, let's kill him!" Dave went
for the plate guy first, but all the puss had to hear was "Dave is
attacking you", and he recalled. I figured the archer would take off,
seeing how Dave and I were wearing the same colors and were in the same
guild. Guess he wasn't very smart. The archer figured that he and I could
take the pk, so he stayed. hehe, guess he didn't expect me to help the pk.
The only words he could get out were, "What are you doing?! He's the
pk.....HHUURRNNHHH!"
Unfortunately he only have a few arrows and some crap armor on him. Dave
got the actual kill on him too, so I was still Notorious.
Sam met up with us and we headed for Vesper crossroads. When we got there,
they both hid and I was to lure out the victims. There was a lady named
Mrs. Pickins or Mrs. Popins (or something like that). Dave and Sam
immediately attacked her and chased her, but she somehow managed to escape
them and come running back to me for help.
"Help there are pks up there!", she said.
"JoeTheBum is attacking you!" is how I responded.
Since my friends had taken her down to 1/3 of her life left, it only took
1 bolt to have her face to face with the ground. I was now officially a
murderer! She only had bone armor and was equipped with a viking sword and
heater shield.
Now you would figure that if you see a dead body, you're presume there is a
pk around and take off, right? Well, some guy in chainmail comes walking
and sees the corpse. His first thoughts were "WAHOO, a body, it must have
loot on it!"
After the words, "JoeTheBum is attacking you!" "Sam is attacking you!" I
think it hit him.
I believe his next thoughts and words were "Oh Sh*t! pks!"
He is obviously very observant.
He must have either been new or retarded. Either way, he should have had
the common sense to stay away. He didn't have much on him, just chainmail
and a war hammer. By now, I was overloaded from all of the other kills, so
I decided to call it a night.
