Why am I evil?
- By Nighthawk

Wow. That's not an easy question. Well, back in the day I was an anti-pk. That was my thing back in the dread days (except at the very end). I was a goodie-goodie, monster bashing evil hating player. Christ, doesn't everyone start off as that? Well, I was a bad-ass anti so that kept me interested for a while.

Eventually I started going evil. PKing just before the rep patch and making an ungodly Tank/Thief the first week of the rep patch. I was hooked. There was nothing else to life outside of stealing. Then came the house lootings. Not exploiting bugs, but exploiting stupidity. If you opened your door and I was within hearing distance, I would either get in the door or get your key and let myself in.

Eventually, I made my main (not my thief) a pk. With high 90's magery, good resist and GM tactics/archery/maces I beat the piss out of people. I gathered a few friends and we wailed on people endlessly. PKing and stealing have been my fallbacks when the game gets boring. Hell, recently I macroed up a character I thought I'd never have - a GM tinkerer. I sit and watch TV until I hear *BOOM*, then I pay attention to the game again. I've made lots of enemies and even a few friends tinker trapping.

Now with meditation I got my main and my PK high Medi as quickly as possible (since the learning curve is highest when the skill isn't widely used - this will be so right off the bat is the only chance ya get). With those two characters having that skill, it'll change a lot of the way I play (thankfully) and opened gameplay to new strategies and adventures. Christ, since I've gotten Meditation, I don't think I've ever gone through so many regs... :)

I have 2 accounts and I LOVE building new characters (except for merchants like bowyers just because it takes forever). SO, after that long speil, that's how I've kept the game fresh for me and several people around me. Evil is what keeps me going.
