1. I too served in the army for 3 years and 3 months at Ft. Bragg till 2003. With that said, I am not seeing the correlation between bomb disposal and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Why would someone from the hurt locker have an intimate knowledge of WMD's? Are you trained in disabling a suitcase nuke?

2. Your definition of creationist is a bit lacking and you did the citing sin of using Wiki as a source. However even though that is a correct definition its a little broader than that to include that dinosaurs walked alongside man and that the planet earth is only 6000 years old. Which in both cases is stupid.

3. You consider a tiny island 150 miles from the coast of Alaska as proof that they can in fact see Russia? I read your cnn and blog and found this very interesting: "As a matter of fact, no Alaska governor in the state's nearly 50 year history has ever visited the remote outpost that still has little running water. We were curious what the Little Diomeders thought about Palin's claim of foreign policy experience because of the proximity of Siberia. Interestingly, many of these Alaskans had no idea who Sarah Palin was! It turns out they have no TV on the island, and therefore, many don't follow the news." Yep you did a great service by posting that link, only to me.

Honestly I am sick of political labels especially with the overuse of liberal when you read the definition it sounds exactly as to what I and the rest of the world should aspire to...
lib·er·al (lbr-l, lbrl)
adj.
1.
a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.
c. Of, relating to, or characteristic of liberalism.
d. Liberal Of, designating, or characteristic of a political party founded on or associated with principles of social and political liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States.

Free from bigotry, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behaviours of others..

Thanks for the compliment.

Great post i love to argue and its nice when someone can come back with something intelligent to say.

1. Thank you for your service what did you do? Sorry you had to live near Fayetteville i spent some time up there. Yes i am a certified team leader trained in nukes. I have never had to deal with WMD but have worked with other techs that have. -10 points for mentioning the Hurt Locker as reference to my profession shame on you that movie is horrible.

2. If Palin thinks "dinosaurs walked alongside man and that the planet earth is only 6000 years old" than i think she is foolish in that regard. Could you provide a reference please? But its hardly a deal breaker i would guess most politicians would say something ridiculous like that to appease religious people. At least she is a real Christian. I dont think Obama is a Muslim but i do think he uses religion as a means to an end.

3. I think the Sara Palin and Russian thing is a net zero for and against her. She didn't say anything crazy like some people think but she probably didn't have much influence on foreign policy. Few people do at a state government level.

The definition on liberal was clearly written by a liberal lol. My views are liberal (I'm a libertarian for the most part) but i think that liberals have hijacked the word to hide their intentions. Here are the points i would make about that.

-I would say that liberals are very authoritarian even if your definition says they are not. Instead of letting people give to those they chose they want to take your money and give it to those whom they chose. They want to tell you where you can smoke, carry a weapon, and express your religious beliefs.

-I dont find that very tolerant of anyones ideas but their own.

- Social liberalism would be letting people do what they want so long as they do not interfere with other peoples ability to do the same. I would give both parties an F in that category but i think that the librarian movement is trying to take over and change the republican party from within so i hope that changes.

In the end i still see no reason to hate Palin more than say Biden other than if you dress to the right or the left if you get my meaning. I dress to the left BTW i will have to do something about that.
