How is he doing so far? I really don't like the fact that I am going to be paying for other American's irresponsibility. I also detest the idea that banks despite "not having enough money to survive" continue to pay their CEO's egregiously, throw multi-million dollar extravaganzas, and then ask for more money. I like the idea that Obama has capped the salary of the executives of the banks he helped out, but I don't really think its his right to do that.

Anyway, I am just hoping that his plan will work out. It is really too early to tell.

I'm with you 100%. Basically, irresponsibility gets rewarded in socialism which is why I hate it. And so far, Obama has proven my theory on him. I had high hopes that I was wrong and the office would steer him toward a more moderate position instead of being so very extreme left, but so far... it's laughable. he's been in office just over 30 days and he's already spent almost one TRILLION dollars. It's a number previously unheard of and he's pulled it off in a month.

And he's trying to tell us he's going to halve the national deficit during his "first term"? Holy shit, I dunno how you're going to do that when your first budget calls for a $1.6 trillion deficit.

I hope to god this shows people that "change" isn't always "better".

He never deserved to be in the position of President. A fucking 1 term senator, not even a governor defeats a fucking patriot with a lifetime of expeience. This shows what type of person voted for him. Change?? We are the most powerful country on the planet already.

There is too much to lament over that I have no idea where to even begin. If he is the face of America then I don't know where I am anymore. My biggest surprise is how swift he is moving to change our country. I was so worried about democrats having full control. How much damage they could do in a short amount of time.

I can't stand seeing his face and its plastered all over the net it makes me so sick and they all thought Bush was arrogant. I see arrogance in his face its disguisting. rant rant rant rant. sorry but my post is nothing but a rant and I just have a bad gut feeling about the future. I have to stop looking at CNN for a while I have been getting naseaus.

When you can finally break a leg and not worry about paying for bus on the way home, you'll thank.... actually, you'll probably still bitch, but hey, atleast you didn't have to pay for hospital bills.

I guess that's why all the socialist countries in the world have people with critical needs come to the US to get treatment, right? I guess a free, but slow as fuck system with low-rent doctors isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Critical needs? Sure, but do you honestly think its worth having such an expensive system so you can have the best doctors? That's great, can you afford them? The US health care system is the most expensive in the world but ranked 37th in the world in overall performance, and also 72nd by the overall health of its population.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think socialism is the end all be all, but things like the right to your health is almost intrinsically socialist.

I'm not no Obama fan boy, I'm just saying you'll at least get one thing good out of him until his cabinet starts to fall around him.

My son was just born in january and I have incurred about 8 grand in debt total. I would rather have that debt than live anywhere else honestly.

and about being 72nd in overall health, that's because we all eat like fucking cows, because most of america is obamabots that eat mcdonalds for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Really eh? How much does it usually cost for medical fees when having a baby? My sister was born in Port Charlotte, Florida, be interesting to know how much she's worth haha.
