New CoD

I posted this reply to a thread on VN (yes I still check it now and again), but thought I'd post it here for the possibility of discussion here:

No dedicated servers, 9v9 capped multiplayer (use to be 32v32 on some maps), no lean, no mods/custom maps, no console commands

It's also $60 on PC...first PC game I've heard of.

And to top it off, they had one of the devs do a dev chat and he pretty much mocked and made fun of anyone who asked about these changes.

Many PC gamers are claiming to be canceling their pre-orders and supposedly they had to ban huge ranges of IPs from their forums.

I knew the trend for consoles right now is most devs are dev'ing for 360 and porting to PS3/Wii, but surprised they starting to do the same for PC.

Similarly, IMO, Borderlands looks and plays better on 360.

IMO it looks about the same, but plays way better with a mouse since all combat is FPS style. :P

I really couldn't care less about CoD.... but I feel an overwhelming desire to play it. DAMN YOU ADVERTISING GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!!!!
