Drm
I have come to personally hate drm. Mostly, it is a front to give my self a reason to pirate, but when you really think about it, it's bullshit. Honest people get punished because no one can be trusted. Sitting through those anti-piracy ads in movies are one good example. Don't have to see that shit on a pirated copy. There are a few examples of data protection that seem to be reasonable though. Although many may disagree, putting no LAN in Starcraft 2 is a great example. Who still fucking uses LANs other than pirates? If you want to play at a LAN party then you all have to log into battlenet. No big deal right? I don't really know honestly, I've never been to a LAN party.
Also, Batman Arkham asylum had some interesting issues with the leaked PC version. In the regular game, if you hold the run button you can jump off a ledge and spread your batcape and glide. In the leaked version instead of spreading arms, you just kinda flap them, then fall. Breaking the games for pirates, instead of making them less accessible to the honest folk that pay for them seems like the best way to do it (if that's even possible)
P.S. Post not edited, syntax terrible etc. sorry.
