Another zombie game. This one is the best. Try it out on steam for the next two days, free demo of the first two maps. It's fun as hell, really. Four player co-op zombie horror survival. five special super zombies that come at you randomly and all do special things. Advanced AI called the director, as you play a character in a horror movie, makes every game unique and challenging. You NEED to play this game if you care about zombies at all.

Yes, fun game, I know Lebowski posted something about people complaining about graphics on console but damn, at 1920x1200 and maxed AA and Anisotropic filtering makes it look damn badass.

I haven't played it but have read a lot about it in the gaming magazine that I get every month. They have been following it closely for quite some time now. It sounds fucking epic how The Director is able to selfadjusts the game experience depending on how you perform.

I don't think this was specific to the 360 version. Since it's still using the HL2 engine, it's definitely not up to par with some of the newer games coming out, like Fallout 3, Crysis, Call of Duty, etc., but I don't think they are bad at all.

Some people just expect the best graphics available when a new game comes out...

Yes, it's why imo we go through good game drouts since everybody is busy making the next best graphics instead of being creative with gameplay.

I recommend setting off car alarms.

The Source engine is what, 4-5 years old? That's older than most consoles still being used! Valve still has some of the best quality games you can buy. Right now Team Fortress 2 has me by the balls and wont let them go. I for one wouldn't want a pretty piece of shit that played like ass (see Doom III). People these days forget its about the whole package. Especially the kids that didnt grow up with games like the Asteroids, Pong, or even Vector graphics. Not to mention missing out on the whole 2600 and NES days.

If it doesnt look like some Final Fantasy cut scene shit on the outside of the box they dont want it. I think you can give some people a game about a guy taking a shit and the goal is to not break the toilet paper when he wipes his ass and as long as it had great graphics or special physics and water interaction when the turd hit the water it would be a 10/10.

This game sounds really good but I am sick of scary games though. I know it makes me sound like a pussy but I can't really handle scary ass games and all the good ones are scary. I like to chill out, relax, eat popcorn while I play a great game that doesn't make me piss myself. I am a glutton for punishment and I will buy this game next time I head out shopping or try out the demo.

It's not really "scary" so much, as it is intense. Like if you're thinking its like resident evil or silent hill scary, it isn't... I don't have a good analogy to another game, but its just like fighting swarms and swarms of zombies, and every now and then you get thrown up on, jumped on, choked, or smashed.
