Expansion Anyone?
I know it's hard to admit you are playing, but who all plans on getting the expansion?
My account has been unsub'd for a few months, due to getting bored and then having a ridiculous amount of awesome 360 games coming out.
However, I'll probably get the expansion for my b-day or Christmas and start up again when I get through all these games (or my 360 breaks =P)
They are planning quite a bit of love for the BGs (thanks to Warhammer) which will be interesting to see how it goes. Things like gaining XP, queue anywhere, possibly randomizing starting areas, and they want to make them more competitive and less of an honor grind (expect to see some kind of rating system for individuals, guilds, maybe a BG teams - similar to arean teams, etc).

Not me. I'm playing through Final Fantasy VII again, such a good game. Also I finally made Knight rank with my society in AC and can finally get on the new island area with mobs that drop the new tier of loot... at least I think they do.
Still playing TF2 a ton, you really should get it for PC already!

I've been asked this no less than 20 times in the past few weeks. I've briefly considered it, but the long and short is... if I'm going to play an MMO again, it's going to be one that interests Ally.
Otherwise, I'm taking a break from them since my last several tries at them have come up seriously wanting (Vanguard, AoC, WAR).
My problem is... what can this new version of WoW offer that isn't just a rehashed version that I've played to death? I mean, I played WoW for 4 years... what is it going to have that is going to make me feel that it's worth my time?

I haven't really played much since about May. Maybe 6 hours or so since then.
I really don't want to get the expansion. It is just going to be another grind of 10 levels and the same BS as last expansion. Unless you are in a big guild, you won't see all the content and IMO whats the use playing if you aren't going to see all the content. 5 mans are fun until you have to do them a million times. I am being asked by a few people if I am going to play, but I just don't know if I can force myself to play on a regular basis.

I cant get WoW to work since the last patch. I would play the expansion but i'm afraid of buying it and wasting my money incase it doesnt work again.

The PvE content is for sure what you'd expect....another 10 levels...another 7 or so zones to get you there.
I only briefly went to the PvP zone in beta and there's also some major changes in store for BGs (in the coming content patches). But, yeah, I've taken a several-month break, but figure once I get through all these 360 games (which could be months), I'll probably end up on WoW again...unless something else comes along...how long it will hold my attention...who knows.

I logged into it once. I know I heard something about updates to the 360 version, but have no idea if it happened or is going to.
I definitely will play this on PC...if I ever get into it. I bought it the same day I bought AoC, which I played for a couple weeks, then think I got distracted with WoW, and now I have like six 360 games to get through =)
Good time for gaming overall. Lots of high quality games.
