Default Red Alert 3

So anyone else planning on picking up Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3?

I have always enjoyed this series. It is going to be ported to the consoles but I would have a hard time trying to play it. You just got to have a keyboard and mouse to play this. No question about it.

Yea, my favorite aspect of the old games was the corny movies in between missions. So I preordered RA3, and I also bought the CC3 games.

I got to beta test the multiplayer and its not half bad. I beat everything as the Allies with the carrier ship though.

I'm actually curious since they added Imperial Japan, what they plan for a expansion pack or RA4 maybe we'll see a version of the Nazis or at least Germany's return as a big contender in the world.

The movies are good as well as zooming in to specific units and hearing what they say.

Nothing like getting fucked up by a big batch of prism tanks.

I am excited about this one. To me, nothing does RTS as well as the Red Alert series.

There were a couple RTS games that I found mildly entertaining like Black and White, Starcraft, some castle one a few years back, but I just really can't get into them.

I loved X-Com, but not sure if that actually fits in the RTS category or not...

I loved early RTS with the exception of Rome Total War and Civilizations 4, such as Age of Empire, Total Annihilation, and Red Alert 1.
I am more turn based such as Galactic Civilizations 2: Twilight of the Arnor OMG PLAY IT.. and sins of the solar empire.
