So, like some of the games I mentioned were DOS. And if you want to go further back then I actually enjoyed Rogue on my IBM BlueChip but that's probably because there was hardly anything of real quality that far back. I played a few other games on my Aunt's Tandy from radioshack like Kings Quest and some space game she was addicted to.
If you are talking about the internet era PC gaming. Warcraft, 7th guest, Gorilla, Wolfenstein, Doom, Myst, X-wing, Jazz the Jackrabbit (just kidding) These were all single player experiences.
I could lie and said I enjoyed more but I did my retro gaming phase and tried out some "classics" through emulation and was sorely dissapointed in nearly all of them. You had to experience them when they were "cutting edge" or they will just seem like rubbish.
