I am Number Four
I try not to let out any spoilers and this movie is pretty straight forward anyways.
First let me saw that the plot was far fetched, the characters were weak and the storyline was cliche.
Putting all that aside, it was a very entertaining movie. The abilities and fight scene put all of Marvel films to shame. It shows you how this genre should be done . The villains were sinister and completely fearless which gave them presence on screen. The villains were a mix of Dark City's trench coat thugs and Joker's gang from the The first Batman with keaton. They had character and and were a good embodiment of evil. The drive for the villains pursuits were hardly explained and I felt they could have atleast given some sort of motives or an understanding of their relentless needs to destroy the 9 other than they were just out to devestate and move on.
The dialogue was very weak but the characters lacked costumes which is a relief because I feel that marvel films are slowly turning the sci-fi/super hero genre into a joke and need to adapt or just go back to comics because the Thor preview had me rolling my eyes.
You will like it.
