I was going to go see it the other night, but it's close to 3 hours long (2h40 or something) so that talked me out of it for the theaters although it looks like it has potential from the previews.

Anyone seen it?

All movies are to some degree, but if it actually made you think and wonder if it was racist then it must be pretty bad.

Bad acting, redonkulous story, so far fetched...wait for DVD

Special effects were good except once scene looked like a movie off the sci fi channel.

That does sum it up pretty well. But, I did enjoy the movie. The disaster scenes were pretty intense but the plot/ending was sorta meh to me. Wait for DVD.

I liked the flick...was surprised at how well the disaster scenes work. The man vs. man struggles didn't play out very well, but man vs. nature was top notch for sure.
