Looking forward to M. Night Shyamalan's newest brain child. If you go to see it tonight let me extend my envy as I will be trapped in the office. So far I have heard good things.

From what I've heard, it was pretty awful but I have yet to see it myself.

Yea a buddy of mine went to see it. He said that it was pretty decent 2/3rds of the way through... then didn't end so hot.

Said it was suspensful though... but not worth going to the theatre for.

It's a renter.

Yeah, Ally was looking at the user ratings on Yahoo and found it was getting a C- average. I saw a couple of spoilers on the negative ones which sorta sucks since that type of movie you really don't want to have any idea what is going on, so don't read the negative user reviews.

Would be similar to someone who just watched Sixth Sense saying "man that movie sucked because he was a ghost the whole time!". GAH NO, you ruined it!!!!!!!!

Fuck, I hate people.

Yea I saw it, if you go in too excited then you will come out bitter. Good movie for awhile until you figure out what is going on...

yeah I let two people ruin it for me, but it sounded like it could be okay. Saved myself $9 at any rate. I heard negative things about every MNS movie following The Sixth Sense and I've liked them all (note: never saw Lady in the Water.) I think people might be expecting too much from m night.

Well you know... I don't blame MNS really. He does tell great stories.

I blame whoever advertised his movies... because they amp you up for this totally different story.

Lady in the Water would've been a fun movie.... if it hadn't been advertised as a suspenseful thriller. There were some "woah" moments in the theatre but all in all I went in expecting one thing... and got another.

I think it's just his brand of storytelling... he likes throwing curveballs that drastically alter the movie type. So you're starting to think it's going to be a horror film... then at the end you realize... oh. It's a romantic comedy. How did we end up here? WTF?!
