To Drink or not to Drink???

In the last week alone I have been passed over on two jobs that pay over 75k a year with full benefits for my family and retirement that are cake jobs that friends had me lined up for but because of my DWI's in the past I was not able to apply for.
Being OLDER now I really kick myself in the ass for putting myself first and enjoying all the fun to be had when single. I just thank God that I never hurt anyone while driving under the influence for so many years. I hope this message goes out to someone that drinking and driving is NOT worth it... I couldn't tell you how much I have lost financially not only to fines and lawyers and such but because of job opportunites. Hell while I was drilling for oil eleven years ago I was hired and let go by Burlington Railroad to be a conductor (drive trains) starting out at 70k a year with hella benefits that you eventually end up making six figures. All because of DWI's.

I guess I just needed to vent......

I am passing up low starting 6 figure jobs to go back to school. I will kick myself for my stupidity later.
Or I will just go back and do the them after I waste time and money in college.

I got fired from a career job for smoking weed.... a month later i had a better job doing the same thing but making twice as much money. Oh and I still smoke weed.... A bad thing happening to you doesnt have to fuck u for life.. sometimes it helps you start a new one
