Darkfall Expansion + NA transfers

If you havent heard darkfall has finally announced the transfers allowing EU players to transfer to the NA server (at the start of the game there was only the EU server). Also the second expansion looks to add a lot of the player skill back into the game with the addition of global cooldowns for aoes + some love for melle and archery.

Anyone planning to come back? I resubbed about a month ago in preperation for this.

I was seriously thinking about it, I enjoyed Darkfall very much but I ended up getting bored with it. My ping also sucked horribly playing EU and I didnt want to start all the way over on the US server. My account has been inactive for 4 months and Im kind of worried that my character and items have been deleted... if they havent then I might just resub today. The only problem is that I no longer have a clan since I've basically disappeared, I was in afghanistan alliance (TheMercs) but I have no idea what is going on with them. I have like 25k and a shitload of gear if its still there.. but it would suck if I was all alone in some shitty player city.

Raugh are you in any clan? Would ya mind gettin together in-game and goin to spar or hunt? Maybe even put me up for joining your clan if you do have one. If so I would love to resub.

You char and stuff isn't deleted. You can transfer for free during the first 30 days and all you need is to resub your account with a US sub. You can transfer without resubbing too.

Afaik TheMercs are transferring to US along with a lot of other US based clans and players. There'll be plenty of new friends to make for anyone resubbing.

Mercs left to play Aion, everyone caught up to them in magic in the 6x patch and they got scared of getting owned I think.

Tomorrow is offically been announced to allow transfers(today actually).

As the guy said above you can transfer for free without paying the 50 dollars for the NA client and without reopening your EU-1 acct.

lol the game is shit right now.. utter shit and boring garbage just because more or less people will converge on a server doesnt mean things are any different. Maybe once they get off their ass with this "expansion" (why the fuck do they call content and bug fixes an expansion anyways) then perhaps thing will be different. I have seen 96% of all the people i met in darkfall leave for greener or hell any other pastures. I look occasionally at the forums to see whats new or what have you and low and behold nothing is new. Everything the game tries to fix such as subscriber only forums seems too little too late. There is literally nothing to lure in casual players which will probably spur a faster demise than most. Whats worse is, is I think there were more people on IPY at one point than what currently plays darkfall.

Think I am crazy? Fraps running from town to town and racial alliance chat. probably wont even go beyond 200 unique individuals.
