Default Mexico Decriminalizes most drugs

Mexico has decriminalized weed, coke, LSD and heroin in a move to save money and free up jail space.

Amazing, personally I think it to be a step in the right direction. Boy if America followed suit what a great country this would be.

I would prefer to see HGH and steroids legalized. Why don't we do that as well? Certain drugs have bad stimgas and always will. Im not a professional athlete or looking for recreational drugs or mind altering addictive substances or drugs that paralyze victims so why can't I inject something into my own body after I work my ass off in a gym?

Why do other people care what I do with my own money and body?

personally I dont see an issue with some sort of legalized marijuana. I don't smoke the stuff anymore but I know plenty of contributing members of society who do. I don't think any drug that has a physical addiction that runs alongside it including alcohol should be legal. Growing up my mother has been a bar tender and manager her whole life and seeing the kinds of people who neglect famlies, work, and life in general have burned it into my mind as a damaging drug. I had alot of great times in college drinking every night and living the party most of us do at school. Looking back it makes me think just how much better our "best & Brightest" would be if we didnt spend the minimum 4 years binge drinking.

My biggest fear of legalized drug use is the fact that the word "legal" will make people who have no business touching any kind of drugs pick up. I know a good % of people in this country already do drugs but a huge portion of the population does not touch drug strictly because they are illegal.

See children druggs are bad.

I agree with that 100%. But I think you should have to get some kind of license to purchase any drug that requires a phych eval. Anyone who shows signs of addictive personalities should be refused the license.

Its funny tho because 2 years ago I would be all about legalizing drugs but since going through issues with a legal drug addiction that almost left my life in shambles I now see the darker side of it all. Im not trying to bible beat or scream no one should do drugs I just now know it can grab a hold of damn near anyone.

They should just make everything legal if you're over 21, and maybe make it so you have to do it in a residence instead of out in public. More tax money, people won't be as fat because everybody will be juicing. Hell, if we aren't already secretly giving steroids to our soldiers I think they are crazy.

To enforce Ganthor's comment. One of the only things the United States Millitary doesn't test for is steriods. I have a brother who's an army ranger, and another who's a light wheel mechanic. Most of us beleive they put some sort of steriods in the food; probably the chicken.
