PS3 Price drop new slim model.

First of all I don't own one I thought they were and they were too expensive to justify no matter how badly I wanted to play Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet. Well now next month they have made it 33 and 36 percent smaller and lighter respectively and with a 120 gig hdd for $299.

i might actually pick up one of these soon. I mean hell god of war 3 is just around the corner and kratos is the mother fucking man. Probably one of the few that can kill chuck norris.

anyways check out this trailer for uncharted two: when you put game development in seasoned developers who know how to squeeze the ps3 you can get graphics on par with crysis.

also there is a game called gran turismo 5 if you are into realistic racing.

Only bad things are these: no backwards compatibility again and no linux os support

but the FAT models of the older generation are also getting the price drop as long as there is stock!

Uncharted 2 does look pretty sweet. I am a lot more likely to get a ps3 with the price drop. I really wanna play LBP.

The older models they are liquidating are 80 and 120 gig models. The ps3 slim will only come in one flavor for now 120 gig..

I do not know for sure if like the old model you can swap out HDD for a bigger one. A friend of mine has a 750 gig hdd in his along with linux and a shitload of emulators which is pretty cool. Once again no clue if you can do it with the new one.
I too would love to play LBP and a few other titles like Resistance 2 and killzone 2.
