one night in my life- lets rant about our jobs

went on duty at 430p and came home at 830p got called right back
and now here is the sequence of events for fun and science

930p
got call from consumers guardian telling me consumer has become violently combative and they need me back over,funny he was asleep when I left.

940p
I arrive on scene and asses the situation
the consumer is in a highly agitated state and indeed violently combative,repetitively attacking his mother with pinching,I wouldn't classify this as actual pinching but more like grabbing a handful of skin and pulling in a tearing motion,kicking and biting.He is also throwing furniture,setting off the rooms emergency alarm,screaming and exhibiting a general form of erratic behavior consistent with psychosis.

I make a few calls to get some advice on how to handle the situation and I determined that he needs to be seen in the emergency room stat.
being to combative for me to handle alone I decided to have him transported by ambulance.

ambulance arrives and me and an EMT restrain the consumer and transport him,on route to the ER my consumer is somewhat calm on the ride but is grabbing equipment in the ambulance so I am having to physically keep his hands restrained.

arrived at ER

11:30
the decision was made after consulting with the ER doc to have consumer sedated, I might add was an ass.

explanation of doc being an ass:
Doctor comes into room and I give him my report and assessment of my consumers condition including the fact that his current condition is caused by a dilantin misdosage,the physician disagrees and says the consumer is exhibiting none of the signs of a dilantn misdosage,obviously doctor quack needs to read the fucking FAQ sheet on phenytoin,I wanted to tell him "you stupid fuck look at the drug sheet and compare it with the consumers current condition you fucking retard."

anyways it takes 2 full mg of adavan to sedate the consumer,1mg is usually enough to knock a grown man out this shows the full on effects of how agitated my consumer was.
I will add that before being sedated the consumer was swinging from the light on the ceiling ,throwing equipment,yelling and doing the same thing he was at his residence.

Time passes

the lab results back and wow guess what,Doctor quack comes in a states the fucking obvious,dilantin misdosage,increase meds and give as normal and releases my consumer back into my care.

I finally get home and get about 3 hours of sleep,when I did a welfare and health check this morning at 11a guess what,after increasing phenytoin by 100mg low and behold my consumer has snapped out of a 4 day psychotic state that nearly killed him,if only the doctors and other staff would have listened to me 2 days ago this would have been resolved a lot sooner and my consumer would not have had to make a trip to the ER.

I made the mistake of fucking one of my employees... Don't say shit cause if you saw her you would do mufuckas! Now I have to work with her 3 days a week. I'm not the type to be a dick and fire someone to get them out of my life.... She does a decent job so I can't really complain. Im a CO so I have to put up with grown adults whining and bitching and acting like children all day. Much like Scott's job except I could be shanked at any time.... been there 4 years, associates in CJ, and im a supervisor, $12.59/hr Fuck my job...

ok, so I work for a tire chain manufaturer. Biggest in the country. Right now we are doing inspections on some of our chain that we got from a chinese manufacturer. We do regular quality control inspections and during those inspections we found some problems.. well, not some, lots. Basically, 23,000 pairs of tire chain need to be re-inspected and possibly re worked. It is tedious as all fucking hell.

Today, it was seven dudes working 8 hours and we got ~250 pairs inspected. Extrapolating that, 90 work days.

On top of that, there is another 55,000 that need to be inspected. Fuck, this summer is going to suck a lot of really, really big dicks.
