Nay, I have other hobbies which are more fun than MMO's. I still do play one game but I find myself logging in less frequently. I never thought it possible in my life to get bored of video games.

Hmm. Yea I am beginning to feel the same way Epsilon. Unfortunately I do not have any other hobbies currently as I have a four month old baby at home that kind of takes up all of my time. I do get some time to play 360... RE 5 has been eating my time for a while.

Im torn between keeping my EU character and waiting for the transfer or making a new one and playing both servers... I guess we'll just have to see. If I do go to US though I will most definately like to partner up with any wtfman readers since there is a comradery here that will surely pass into the game

Yah

OhLawd Deyshawtjerome - Shadow Syndicate

For anyone holding off on US servers...I wouldn't. The politics are strong on EU-1 and it's unlikely that this will be replicated there. Pings are mostly in the low 100's and it doesn't deter archery or casting...it's really not a big deal.

I hate to say it, but I think the US servers are a bad idea at this point...EU-1 is very well developed.

I think your assumption is very prudent... I know of several people just IRL that are holding off for the US servers. The population will boom and things will settle just like they did in EU server. In fact I think that the EU server might even end up getting a big hit in population because lets face it... 20-40 ping is way better than 150 I dont care how good you are ping affects the game. I dont know how much because I've never played darkfall with a good ping but I will find out as soon as US servers open how much of a difference it makes in combat and just in the game in general. We will just have to see I s'pose.

P.S. There will be EU-1, EU-2 and US-1 US-2 in the future from what I've heard... (the #2 servers will be the non-transfer servers) Very dependent on the population though so who knows DF might even die out.
