Damn right Joe. I think it's because Judas was so excited and actually thought this game would be the messiah when all of us kept nay saying. Hell, I expect so little out of it that if they make a NA server and give the game out for more of a bargain than $50 i might try it out.

Yeah, this is first game in a REALLY long time that I've not purchased at release. Hopefully in a month or so the kinks will be ironed out and I can get in on the fun.

Does skill level actually affect anything? Or is it just in small increments?

Seemed like resting was faster the more I did it, but I only played for a week back in January.

Yeah, I have about 70 resting skill now, but it just doesn't seem to make a huge difference. I don't know. :P

I think I am not the only one on deluding myself about this game, I think the people playing it are deluded. I am an agnostic and I had faith that these people were serious about making the fuck all end all pvp mmo that we all have desired since whenever you quit UO or AC. I didn't expect epic fail like this to be honest. And the epic pvp mmos I fell in love with are the good ones so I don't understand your new to mmo's comment.

You see 7 years as just bullshit I see it as the time it took to develop and polish a helluva game I mean 25 guys in 7 years can do what 75 can do in 2 right?

Your last point about implementation of things I wanted in their game is bullshit. Its not what I fucking wanted its what I was lead to believe since 2003. That's a huge difference. I read every single tasos interview and all the open question nights on IRC and a good 50% of it is either lies or not in yet. So what the fuck ever I can be bitter if I want. I can rag on the game if I want. Right now after what I have played I give it a 6. Hopefully 6 months from now I can give it a 9 or 10. Part of it is me being jaded I have waited and boasted and advertised and I mean god damn what kind of small dev asshole team doesn't even hold an open beta ( as promised ) for a stress test if anything? I may play it just not now.

I understand where you're coming from JD. I agree that the game is severely lacking considering what was hyped over the past 6 years by their own development team. I guess they just ran out of money and had to push it out the back door? I'll call it a turd, just for the sake of a 'shitty' metaphor. With a little income, maybe they can make it into something spectacular. Personally, I want to see objects placeable on the ground so I can trap boxes, but that might be a pipe dream.

I'm glad to see your response to what Aventurine has released; it sums up how a lot of people feel. But in any case (game good or bad), who the fuck wants to play on an EU server? I get pissed off if I'm playing CS and my ping is over 60.
