Tax Returns... quick question... help?

Ok so I was trolling through some boards about tax refunds and how long it takes to get them but I cant seem to find my answer anywhere.

My girlfriend E-filed her federal tax return on february 4th with direct deposit and she got her money deposited on the 13th. They say it takes approximately one week longer for paper cheques in the mail.

I E-filed my federal tax return on february 4th also (non direct deposit). Now my question is... When they say it takes one week longer for the paper cheque in the mail, is that one week longer until they send it out or until I receive it? Hopefully its the latter, that way i get it tomorrow :P

Thanks for anybody who can give me any input on how long it took to get a paper cheque in the mail after e-filing.

u want to stay off the radar? no fees from banks? I dunno its awesome but some people in a recession don't trust banks.. just saying

if i got a bank account the hospital bills would probably gobble it up. that among other reasons...

found what I needed finally. So they sent it out on the 20th this last friday I should be getting it tomorrow... woo hoo!!
