Anyhow, the point of the achievements is just to have mini-goals in games. Me having more achievement points than someone else doesn't make me better than them much like someone with more than me doesn't make them better than me. It's not a representation of your epeen size, man. It's just something else to do when you're playing a game.

Also, let me give you a small hint : if you find something you enjoy doing in a game, that's ok. Even if others don't enjoy that same thing. You giving me grief over it is pretty silly (even if it was half jokingly).

And yeah, I'd wager you anything that I've gotten laid more because of video games than you have.

Wow... Was I really coming out that strong? What I highlighted in bold would've been all you needed to post. I am happy that you did catch on to the fact that the post was indeed written in jokingly manner yet I come poking and you bring out the nukes and come swinging big hits. Why is that?

We're not in highschool anymore. I'll throw you a bone anyway just to humor you; I've always wanted to live permantly in the US but have never gotten around to do anything about it. I guess that alone right there makes me wish that my life was as good as yours, right? And I'm sure you've gotten laid more times than me over a video game but that fact is as pointless as the comment it reflects. I mean, who the gives a damn anyway?

I myself don't understand getting the achievements unless it gives me something in game as a reward. I will admit though that in WoW some of the achievements are pretty funny, one is to bounce from land mine to land mine so many times without touching the ground. I about died laughing watching somebody IG doing this and dying. Others are things for doing certain instance bosses that have a charge that can be avoided... but killing them with the charge. Personally I'd rather do it the easy way and get the same damn items, I think it's because of the sheer amount of achievements it devalues them.

I almost forgot, I got to 77+ and my northrend flying skill and managed to discover the rest of the places out there. Sure enough I had gotten all of the other areas too so when I did the last place I got an achievement for it and I actually received a title and a tabard that are only rewarded for exploring all the zones. Not that the item is valuable but at least it gave something.

I finally joined the console revolution. Picked up an Elite last night. I have to switch my modem to the living room because i refuse to spend $100 bucks on the wireless for the xbox. Maybe, just maybe, I can become an Achievement Whore also. Its doubtful tho, seeing as I am more along the lines of a Joe type gamer.
