Great Cover Songs

Default Great Cover Songs
Thought you guys would like these cover songs I came across while surfing youtube today.

The cover to a song called "Hurt" by Trent Reznor of NIN sang by Johnny Cash

The cover to the song "Simple Kind of Man" from Skynard played by Shinedown
YouTube - Shinedown - Simple Man

The cover to a song called "Stripped" from Depeche Mode played by Rammstein
YouTube - Rammstein - Stripped

The cover to a song called "Bitches Ain't Shit" from Dr. Dre played by Bens Fold Five
YouTube - Ben Folds - Myspace Gig - Bitches Ain't Shit

I also found some good ones for Mad World from Tears for Fears

What I really enjoy about these covers is that with the exception of the Shinedown link, they are different than the originals in some way. I enjoy hearing females sing a male performers song or an acoustical version a song.

Shinedown's version of Simple Kind of Man by Lynard Skynard is probably one of my favorite covers of all time.

Marilyn Manson has also done some pretty decent covers of 80's/90's hits like Tainted Love & You Spin me Right Round.

I really like that Hey Ya one, he has a good singing voice.

This one kills me, especially with how they are dressed in the video.
YouTube - Dynamite Hack Boyz In The Hood

There's a local punk/rock band named GTO (Grasshopper Takeover) that did a cover of Baby Got Back that is pretty sweet but it's not on YouTube.
