Haha, It took me forever to just get in line to download it too. But just wait until you start the patch for Open Beta. That's a real doozy.

That's sad, my fileplanet download only took 2 hours.

Been playing WAR all night and some of this morning. So far, I must admit it is far more enjoyable than WoW.

Still a grind, tons of similarities, but a lot more fun to play all around. The questing is similar in essence, but the RvR is much better.

Most impressive feature so far?

Collision detection in RvR, no more running through people. I mean seriously that made a huge difference to me....

I'm also a fan of the old Warhammer games so the story is a bit intriguing but I'm no RPer so beh.

Overall, I like how no matter what rank (level) you are, you can contribute to RvR, and PvP actually MEANS something in this game, unlike WoW, where control of zones is dictated. Nicely done, and not as buggy as other betas I've played so far.

I'm on the Barrak Varr server playing as a Black Orc named Gthunk.

Yea, I'm on Isle of Death or something like that... Dwarven engineer named Theshoe....

I am quite impressed. Playing as an engineer is like turning TF2 into an RPG..

I'm on Wurtbad, I'm trying out the Warrior Priest. So far Ive actually been winning, The Warrior Priest is still pretty squishy compared to a Chaos Champion, But if you do the right curses and prayers you usually win.
