The main problem with those old school shards, as Nighthawk has pointed out, is that when you want to have these old rules then you constantly have people arguing what is and what isn't true to the period. There are some later things that helped enhance the game but are not true to the period so you are limiting yourself in that respect. Also, when you do old period and you try to stay true to the time you can't change or add anything and without change and additions any server will inevitably fall flat after a short period of time.
If the server gives you fulfillment then great, but it's pointless to break forum rules to advertise a server that probably won't be around in 6 months.

Say what you want, I've played Metropolis and I am on Divinity right now just to check it out. Divinity's pvp is hardly T2A, Metro had a newbie dungeon and everything, far from T2A. When I say T2A replica, I mean 100% (besides events). No BS, no 1 Million gold hair coloring (Divinity, if you're players can afford to spend 1 mill on hair, your shard is unbalanced).
You're entitled to your opinion, but this shard blows Divinity and all the other "T2A" shards out of the water. You'll be surprised at the accuracy, you'll find yourself remembering thigns that you had completely forgotten about, and then finally realise how far Divinity really is from T2A.
Our admin just recently got all the patch notes that went "missing" from the UO site from 1997-1998, everything implemented in the server is in those notes. Our server backs up what we say.
