Anyone here play NavyField?

I have been playing for almost 4 years off and on through it's beta phase to premium suscriptions.

Lately, I haven't been able to play because my laptop broke. I'm suffering because I am still addicted to the game.

It's great for fleet PvP once you reach the large BattleShips. You can expect to get owned for months by large battle ships with uber crews while you level up but It's fun to get in with a large clan on teamspeak and play real fleet tactics in either a battleship or aircraft carrier.

The only downside is that when you are new, it's overwhelming playing against the vets.

NavyField.com it's free but it's not.
You will end up starting a new crew after you learn from your mistakes and most likely buy boosts and exp bonus subscriptions if you enjoy it.

The reason I like this game is that you progress almost constantly by subtle factors such as sailors leveling, salors recruits promotions and ship unlocking.

New York server is the newbiest server.
I can't stop thinking about navyfield while I play my Xbox360 games.

Dwarf Fortress. Bay 12 Games: Index It's not online...but it..is..awesome. Also it has ASCii graphics and you WILL take at least an hour to learn how to play it...but seriously fucking cool. It's free and I donated 50 bucks to the fucking guy. He's always working on it and comes out with a new beta a few times a month or more.

Also I'll check out that navy thing, sounds good anyway. But I am hesitant to pay cred..

I know of Dwarf Fortress, read of the 2 brothers working on it in a gaming magazine.

NavyField is completely free but money only save you time. Also, this game cannot be macroed. By the time you hit the big ships (4-5 month) you will have refined skills and that's where real pvp comes into play.

Money only gives u bonus exp and bonus skill multiplier for sailor who eventuall reach a capped ability anyways.
