Rock Band 2 Soon

So with Rock Band 2 right around the corner (9-14-08) who else is planning on getting this besides me?

I am also ordering the ION Drum kit with the extra cymbal. It's pricey ($349) but I think it's going to be totally worth it.

Really looking forward to the game. I already have a ton of the downloadable content for RB1. I have downloaded 81 of them so far. Add that to the 57 on the retail RB1 disk plus the 84 that are on the retail disk for RB2 = hawt goodness. Should keep my busy for awhile at least.

I really can't get worked up over any of the games because

I am a real musician and the thought of the video game and pretending to do what I already can do seems kinda redundant.
take that 349 and invest in a real drum kit it will give you longer lasting fun ,awesome skill and a wicked new hobby.

completely over rhythm based games. Gh was fun for a while so was rock band.. but now its boring.

I'm still a huge fan of Rock Band. Had it since thanksgiving last year and I still enjoy it quite a bit. Great party game.

Looking forward to RB2 in a bad way.

Rockband.... STILL HASN'T FUCKING FULLY RELEASED WHERE I LIVE, grrrr.

Right now I'm just pissed - fuck Rockband. You can get it for the Xbox 360 but I have a Wii. Now I'm just going to wait for "Guitar Hero: World Tour" releases as especially the drumset sounds and looks so much better and durable compared to the Rockband drumset.

Thats one thing I don't really like about Wii. The games for it are VERY hard to come by. That makes it a worse gaming system, imho. I have a Wii and I reconize what it is good for, but non-specific-for-Wii stuff isn't it.
