Summer Olympics

Does anyone else watch the olympics? I know a bunch of people boycotting them due to the host this year, which I think is ridiculous. There's no way getting around how dependent America is on China. Almost everything is made in China, even most American products are manufactured in China. Sure they have a terrible human rights record, but humans with too many rights end up abusing them. Can't really abuse what you don't have...

I don't watch them for an entirely different reason:

I have better things to be doing.

I really enjoy the summer games. To say its the most boring thing on TV is a stretch. It's really one of the only places you will ever see true professional athletes actually competing with heart instead of for the money. Last nights mens 4x100m relay was great TV imo. I guess its hard to watch the olympics when you have great tv like "I Love Money" and all those other reality shows to compete with.

I'm sure ill get stoned for this but it beats the hell out of watching baseball and o so exciting football.

I dont know its quite amusing getting smashed with people you dont know at the bar and making bets with them on competitors you've never heard of.
