I've been gaming since my xx386 days before DOS 6.1/Windows 3.1
Yeah, that's not too long ago, but i'm only 24 as well, I will never buy a console to "have fun" or to keep with the times.
Mouse and Keyboard, nuff said, consoles can take their controllers and shove it.
I remember when I was 13-14 years old playing UO 97-98 and conceptualizing a virtual reality/MMO system combo [.Hack Sign was a good way of describing my idea, but that Anime came out years after I started concept drafting.] While technology has made some amazing moves in the last 10 years [Remember when we thought it was impossible to go beyond the single core CPU/166Mhz/333Mhz/1Ghz/2Ghz, when 32MB video card was the shit, now if you have anything less than 512MB it's terrible]
Now we have quad cores at 2.5+ Ghz per and we have 2GB Video Cards, PCI-E slots, SLI, Etc
Touch / Holo systems are starting to make headlines.
With the Wii technology + a panoramic display for the head/eyes virtual reality can't be that far away.
I just hope 10 years from now we still aren't sitting at the PC with a keyboard and mouse, but rather logged into our favorite MMO in a massive low-grav padded room.
PS. I'm not crazy
