Default what's worth a shit these days?

I need a new mmo. I've tried a good mix of them all, and everything just seems stale to me atm.

UO - Played until the rep patch basically screwed my mains. Stuck through it until friends started leaving too (damn you nighthawk).

Shadowbane - yea... this was a game... horrible

AC - great game. I wasn't on darktide as the group I joined up with on there were a pve/pvp mix guild.

Lineage 2 - another shitty game

Wow - still stuck in here now, followed my AC guild into it, who have since disbanded, and now run with clan meteoris. yadda yadda, full t6 for every god damn spec my druid can think of, completely bored.

AoC - uhm yea... lvl 78 necro with not a god damn thing to do thanks to lack of major end game content

So what else is out there worth a shit? I'm signed up for warhammer beta, but got nadda so far. I've actually been contemplating trying something like UO again just to have something different then wow.

and BTW, Nighthawk, grats on the marriage. I did the same about a year ago, bought a house, yadda yadda. even did the sandals resort on the honeymoon, but we did jamaica instead.

Play AC or UO again, AC you'll still have to pay a subscription fee, but there were quite a few who picked it up again last year and I know they were having fun at least for a while. I haven't played it as much recently because my router has a problem with their launcher, so I can't connect consistently and sometimes not at all.

UO Divinity - Probably the closest you'll get to a good UO experience these days.

EVE Online - Great PvP end game, but extremely time consuming and not for people who aren't into Sci-fi or pretty explosions (it at least comes with a 14 day trial to try out)

Darkfall - Supposedly going to be the next great thing for the PvP community. But has been in development for about as long as a PvP community has existed with 0 playable results. Supposed to release this year.

Everything else you may as well pile together, light on fire, then piss on the ashes.

decided to make a toon on divinity for a bit. Kind of enjoyable to play UO again, especially w/o the suck carebear system. Dunno if it'll keep me interested for long, but hey, it's a time killer at the very least till something new comes out

Play some Vanguard. I started up a couple days ago and i Love it. Its a mix between UO and WoW ... lvl 50 cap and from what i hear a lvl 20 can take on a lvl 30 depending on pvp skills. I suggest the Sarok pvp server if you join up. My chars name is Audix if you need a friend

I just bought a used Linksys router from Ebay yesterday for $11.45 w/ S&H, so it looks like I will be able to play AC again sometime soon. I just have to remember how to pvp, I hope sword/UA is powerful because otherwise I'm going to die to mages... a lot!

lets see good mmorpgs currently playable and not in a state of disrepair.. hmmm
Toondisney online
Maplestory
Real life
Pirates of the Carribean
MU online
Ragnarok

honestly man THERE IS NOTHING TO FILL THE VOID.. nadda nothing zilch zip.. your either like me and been watching darkfall online awaiting our savior or you constantly try games you have beaten like uo and the like to find out that it isnt the same.. usually because the people you played those games with helped make the game..

me personally i play engrossing single player games and sit patiently..
i.e. spore, gta 4, the witcher, mass effect, or games that I havent gotten around to playing and wish I had which this is a perfect time for I highly recommend the adventure game by lucasarts Grim Fandango.. but i digress.

i have a few friends that do if you wish to hook up with them they are awesome ren mages i can give you contacts if you so desire.. they used to play IPY: Smoke, Furby, Hojo I cant recall if that was their IPY names or not but i know they play on divinity.. they hang out also in IRC with whomever else that is still active on these forums... they are a bunch of great guys and players and Furby especially was the greatest field general for target calling I have ever seen.

yea, I see quite a few people on divinity. Pretty good playerbase, most of the time when I login there's 500+ people online.

though that's on hold for now, since I got into the warhammer beta last night and I'm going to see how that is.
