I was wondering was anyone here interested in Warhammer Online.

lol personally i think that game looks horrible, and on top of that they are cutting a shit load and i mean... a SHIT load of stuff out to meet their launch date. ie: several classes and race capital cities wont be in the release.

Looks pretty good too me. I know that the graphics are not AoC level but I am not a graphics whore either. Give me good pvp in an interesting world and I am all set. I also like the fact that they are using what sounds like a good anti cheat system. Cheating is the #1 way to ruin a good pvp game. Just look at how it plagued AC. Of course having the game based on a darker fantasy setting like the Warhammer world really adds more interest for me.

It's -very- hard to translate a tabletop game into a computer game.

Yeah I do wish it had full loot or at least some servers where everything was full loot. Maybe like a hardcore pvp server. Beer, I agree with you about it being hard to convert a table top to a computer game. But one of the things that gives me more confidence in them is the fact that they have been working very closely with Games Workshop. They wanted to make sure that they capture the feel of Warhammer. If they pull it off, this will be a pretty good game in my opinion.

You have to say it's certainly a fun Uni to play with...*shrug* I wont get it out of the gate, but will prob try a free 2 week thing or something unless I hear much goodness about it.

I have it pre-ordered right now so if anyone is interested in playing with us let me know. Right now it is just a bunch of people in my area. I would love to see the old cast from UO on.

When if comes out whoever is playing should post what server they are on.

Imho I dont think it looks all that stellar.. why even bother going from AoC to WHC besides Darkfall is on the horizon ( it will happen this year I swear it ) I cannot fill my head with nonsense that is umm well nonsense.
