Battlefield Bad Company 2 anyone?

I have been playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 a lot. Does anyone else here play? I see a few of you guys on Xbox but no one has this one. It's a team based game that benifits greatly from voice chatting. Just wanted some people to play with.

I have the game and am enjoying it quite a bit. The first couple times I played it just felt off but I'm pretty sure it's because I was so use to the CoD engine. The more I play the more I like. Unlocking better weapons and gadgets definitely helps make it more enjoyable as well.

It does a lot of things better than CoD like teamwork (it's not just every man on their own trying to get their kill/death ratio up), better weapon balance (everyone can't snipe with every gun!), spawn points, destructible environments, and vehicles.

My biggest complaint right now is matchmaking late at night sucks. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I've been mainly playing as assault and recon, although engineer and medic look fun as well.

Last night I was playing defense as Recon defending a M-COM. I had a pretty nice spot with a good view of the target and where my enemies were coming from. I think I got about 10 kills from sniping and another 4-5 from calling in mortar strikes (which I had just unlocked) on the tanks they kept bringing over before they finally destroyed it.

So far I am Master Sgt II.

I have assault class fully upgraded.

I just got my defibrillator on medic.

Engineer is about to unlock the 3rd rpg thingy.

I have never tried Scout. That class is the most annoying with the mortar strikeing. I want to chuck the controller at the screen when I see the kill cam from a recon. On Laguna Presa I have to circle the outside of the map and collect dogtags from the recons sniping.

M16A2 is my favorite weapon.

The ability to spot enemy for team is cool. Kill/Death ratio means nothing here which is cool.

My complaints are at late night you join matches with 4 players. Not enough people join public teams so Rush games can be a mess with no one to spawn off. Not enough voice chatting and you can't hear the team if you are in a squad so it discourages public squads.

This game needs to be played with friends I feel.

rofl ... damn no wonder pc gaming is dying you all are playing this on CONSOLES..

I for one am a rank 38 major with every achievement, unlock, insignia (except 2 that are bugged) and award.
Even though the lack of map variety that was present in battlefield 2 is what is hurting the most that and a very weak community.

Shame you all play this on consoles.. But I guess it started there being a spin off to compete with the other lame FPS' like MW2. At least your not playing that big pile of noob camping shit.

I'm considering grabbing this on PC as well to put my new video card to the test and to be able to play with a few people I know who don't have 360s.

Looking around for it on sale or for people who have it for trade...

How badly is hacking on PC? Still thinking about grabbing this on PC but from what I've read (and seen many videos on youtube), there's tons of hacking on the PC version which would completely ruin it for me. I've hear stick to Punkbuster servers, but still hear that people will be aimbotting/wallhacking for a game or two before they get kicked/banned.

I now have Assault and Recon fully unlocked with 1 more gun for engineer. I'm rank 17. I really suck at medic but probably just need to play it more. I sucked at engineer at first but now greatly enjoy it and getting good. Getting really good at shooting down helicopters.

hacking isnt too bad its pretty obvious when someone is.. out of 800+ rounds I have played, I think i have encountered maybe 4. Punkbuster has really really improved and now you see at least 20+ banned a day, coupled with that it is now mandatory for all ranked servers to be pb enabled hacking isnt that big of a problem.

Yah thats the thing that pisses me off most about the last patch.. we have a faster turning radius and they decided that we needed the xbox's faster than a laser tracer dart effectively ruining choppers on the PC.

Want to be a better medic? M60 + ww2m1411 + 4x scope + magnum ammo = Medic Domination.

Don't blame 360! It doesn't have the fast tracer dart...yet. It's the same speed PC had before the patch. The latest round of gun balances hasn't hit 360, but once it does it'll be fast like it is now on PC.

I rarely bother with the tracer dart unless I absolutely know I can hit... like a helicopter not moving or a tank. I couldn't hit anything with the RPG-7 cuz it's too slow, but as soon as I got the CG I started getting better. I have the third one unlocked but haven't used it yet, I like the CG too much.

It took me about 5-7 games to get my PC FPS groove back (along with unlocking the XM8 Compact, CG, and Red Dot Sight for the engineer class), but I'm playing pretty damn good now. What a miserable couples hours to get there... =)

I've gotten a bit bored of this game. I was thinking of trying Quake Live but then I am maybe just needing a break.

This gameBFBC2) is really fun while you are unlocking items but now it seems I die almost instantly when someone sneaks up on you. Anyone playing quake live(free) or tried the Halo Reach beta?
