Default Xbox Live Arcade games to check out

I highly recommend checking out Braid, Bionic Commando Rearmed, and Castle Crashers on XBLA. Like all games on there, there's a trial version to try before you buy.

Braid - Classic 2D platformer ala Mario and very cool puzzles to figure out. Puzzles start a bit slow/easy, but get a lot better. Some of them really make you think.

Bionic Commando Rearmed - Remake of the NES/arcade classic. This is exactly how remakes should be done. Gameplay fully intact and nice pretty graphics. If you haven't played it, it's kinda like Contra, but instead of jumping around, you have a bionic arm you shoot into things to swing yourself around.

Castle Crashers - I actually haven't bought this one yet, but the demo was a lot of fun and it got good reviews. Buying this soon.

Anyone have others they'd like to recommmend?

Agreed. Joe told me to try the trial of that and after about 2 minutes I was ordering the full version. Good stuff.

What a fucking addicting game that is. I just did the same thing you did. Played the first game and was ordering it when I died.

Just spent about an hour and a half playing. Time flies while playing this game.
