8-bit Classics
Duckhunt was my all time favorite on my NES. I also enjoyed playing Megaman. I heard they brought out a Megaman 9 for the Wii using the old 8bit sprites. Now that's a game I wouldn't mind playing.
Also, was it just my cartridge or did anyone else have their game freeze on the final fight with browser in the original Mario Bros. I could never finish the game since it froze every time.

Bionic Commando was probably my favoriate NES game.
They actually just remade it and did a pretty good job. The gameplay is exactly the same, as far as I can remember, but with a lot more modern graphics.
It's available for 1200 points on Xbox Live Arcade and PS Network (dunno price).
There's a 3D version in the works that, from the videos I've seen, looks pretty cool...have to wait to see.
Others series I enjoyed a lot:
Kid Icarus
Contra (I may not remember anniversaries, birthdays, etc, but gd I'll remember the 30 lives cheat code til I die)
Mario
Metal Gear

Megaman 9 is also on Xbox Live Arcade and probably PSN too.
I don't remember having a problem with freezing on Mario Bros.

I'll just wait until the Wii Emulator is finished and it comes out in a "rom" Ive played all of those on my computer. Contra is a real pain, but still fun.
I actually purchased Bionic commando since the remake came out for the PC. Its not half bad.

I wish with every fiber in my being that someone would do a next-gen battletoads and to a modern extent Killer Instinct.
I digress...
Double Dragon
River City Ransom
Master Blaster
Star Tropics
Wizards and Warriors Part 2 was awesome.
umm I dunno really if I was to pick one game from NES to have a sequel or be remade..
yep still Battletoads with coop online play..
Since this is the console game I will go OT for a second and wish that fucking Ubisoft would make a multiplayer only game of Spy Vs. Mercs of Splinter Cell. It was a fucking epic hardcore multiplayer game of 2 v 2 with the only comparison of how hard core it was is pretty much UO mage duels. I played Pandora Tomorrow on XBL a total of about ohh say 700 hours + then chaos theory another 500 or so.. THat game was fucking the most awesome, involving, immersive, multiplayer game next to a MMO.
/end rant

Rygar
Tecmo Super Bowl
Double Dribble
Oh yea, and a mother fuckin Starman back flip to yer face... Pro Wrestling of course!

Wow, how could I forget Excite Bike, Punch Out, and Master Blaster?
If anyone ever wants any old ROMs or EMUs I have about 150GB of ROMs and ISOs. Just let me know.
