Default Lets spur some hits on WTFMan!!

I figured I'd put this in anger management cuz nobody wants to see me complaining about the lack of activity around here lately. I alone cant do much but I wouldnt mind writing up a few possible articles on MMORPGs and relevant news. Of course, the choice is entirely up to you guys if you want to post them on the front page but I'll have a weekly article every Monday. Other than that, I understand you guys have personal lives and what not but lately I havent had shit to do so I am looking into rejoining Darkfall this week. Other than that, and linking.. I figure I'm doing my part in keepin wtfman alive.

Everytime I've brought on new people, it's been a brief upswing but it doesn't last. Not worth going through it over and over again really.

Or... if someone posts something noteworthy (see also: front page worthy) on the forums, then place it on the front page with their forum name below it. The "Darkfall Persists" article is starting to smell like rancid farts; it already reeked of bs when it was first posted. I'd apologize to cr0ss but I never see him around here anymore.

Selecting front page articles could be done a few different ways. Nighthawk could pick the ones he feels fit the spirit of teh wtfman. Forum members could vote to front page the finest forum literature by replying to the article favorably. In any case, this could allow for potentially daily, nay, weekly (we're still a bunch of lazy bastards after all) posts from our small tight-knit community.

I dont even want to tell you how many times I check it. I am laid off for winter, my kids mother and I broke up and I only have him on the weekends and I dont party much after my son was born. So thats leaves ALOT of time for sitting at home, bored :P

I remember back in 2000 when i used to come here from a Computer in High school back when UO was addicting ha ha, I know i am not well known or anything in the Wtfman community but i check the site 2 times a day for some reason ha ha. but it seems like this sites fading away is kinda what i feel my gaming life has become. I cant say i really enjoy gaming like i used to. Maybe we just got too damn old or things changed to damn much.

definitely the latter bro.. I find myself giddy as a child on xmas morning for some games and some definitely do not disappoint.. However the amount of pussification of our beloved pastime has not only dampened my spirits but also seems to be irrecoverable at this point, once big name pc publishers see how successful activision has been with MW2 I fear things may change radically in the next year or so. I did not used to buy into the whole Hardcore vs. Casual bs fanboism and shit but now I think its completely with merit. If I ever win powerball I am going to start up a gaming company called dedicated pc with 2 branches just to churn out pc games like olden times even with lan support lol.
Even now a game I hold in high regard, Assassins Creed 2, managed to be way too easy that dying was mostly due to jumping the wrong way or a bad camera angle vs. A.I. difficulty which to me is just a very big problem. Plus lets not even get started with the MMO state of things.. although Darkfall looks to be getting a huge overhaul this week. I might have to check it out. I love a good competitive FPS and found my fix in Neotokyo but my fairly new graphics card took a hit in the video ram and now I have to RMA it. So now I am xboxing it up with 1 vs 100, and some xbl arcade titles for now.. But i dunno man complaining about gaming today seems as moot of a point as complaining about how Lady GaGa is a no talent hack..

Is there any game you really still enjoy playing or one you are looking forward to?

on a edited note, here is a lengthy topic on game difficulty:

Game Difficulty IN depth
