Dave,

You asked me to let you know if there was something you could do for me in the future. Well, I've come across something. It has come to my attention that you are using the name WTFGTA still while that name came up due to the association with the WTFMan.com site. Please discontinue use of that name as it implies continued association regardless of how much "we're not associated" is published by either side.


You guys said you "didn't need us" to be successful, so clearly I don't expect this to be an unheard-of request.

Nighthawk already responded, emailed Violent Dave and never saw any results.

I was simply notifying the WTFMen of something that they wouldn't be as I doubt any of them have SA-MP installed.

If NH wanted this handled 'discretely' I would have respected that decision and not have brought it up again.

Its odd isnt it? Whenever someone takes the liberty of stating that a subject isnt any persons business and yet this very topic had its very own seperate thread making it public business. And when in pointing out that it isnt your business always opens a can of drama. I would like to point out something... If the topic wasnt out in the open this subject wouldnt exist to begin with.

Loyalty is something else that comes in to play as well. Whenever you run a successful forum you have those that have to trust and entertain themselves with good features, good topics of discussion, and good people. So when wtfman Joe Momma comes across a game that was supposed to be a joint venture which later resulted in a falling out of those parties here lies the issue; Joe momma sees after a publicly announced parting of ways that one party decides to milk the other for participants and users while waving a familiar flag. This causes the other party to suffer as you can clearly see has happened by the amount of users and posters this forum has. In comparison I remember reading during IPY and man its content and users were day and night as opposed to today. And when asshats ruin it well....


Just saying to summarize it was public and NH has some user loyalty and those users likes to see justice done to shitty situations where people abuse a good idea or the people involved.

Dave responded to my email and we've already worked it out. I appreciate the heads up, but thereafter (aside from me letting you know I emailed him) it was handled "behind the scenes".
