I respec'd (only cost 50C for first time I guess) and once I used my new feats I planned out a few times I got the hang of it and I was back to taking on 3-4 mobs with them dying and me having full mana/health. As they die I could pretty much keep pulling more to replace them, I flew from 46-47.

I have a 36 ToS as well and it has been ridiculously easy to grind with that class but the latest AoE nerf you mention yourself is fine by me. It's funny tho as people complain about ToS being too strong in PvP - so what does Funcom do? They nerf the ToS' PvE capabilities but remove the 2 sec cooldown on the ToS' main dps spell, which would be a key spell in PvP... rofl. Way go!

I would like to get my ranger to 80 and be able to play him, but atm I just don't see myself doing that grind unless I can do it through powerleveling.

What are your character's names Hytek? I didn't see them in the Deathwhisper Character Info thread.

Ah well...

I started out with a Barb so I could get the experience of the new melee combo system and I guess I just wasn't too fond of it. I only got to level 10 before deciding to reroll a caster. Level 18 now and I really like the way they have the casting classes setup. I'll probably stick with it for awhile, at least long enough to level cap this toon.

I advise you find some sort of bigger guild when you're close to or in your 70s. I stopped playing because I had nobody online to play with and in the 70+ zones there's always tons of guilds with lvl 80s holding down the zone and killing you before you can even leave the rez point.

Have you given up on it? And if so what did you not like about it?(anybody can answer this I am curious about the pros and cons of AoC). I always liked the Conan world and do plan to get the game. But I need to do a couple of improvements to my computer first, so I can run it like I want to.

Well, I'm level 25 now and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It has a UO feel to it, in that everyone is human (no orcs and skeletons and elves running around) and the surroundings have a real-world feel to them. Another similarity to UO is the freedom to attack anyone, anywhere. It's unfortunate that you have people ganking at the rez spot, but the tradeoff is worth it because you can kill anyone who is being a cocksucker to you. The only serious flaw in the game is PVP has absolutely no purpose at this point, but I can see with the latest patch they are going to be changing that soon.

On the technical side, the game has a massive memory leak thats requiring me to close and reload the game every time I zone 6-8 times. Seriously sloppy programming with this game. 32gb install wtf...
