Well you know... I don't blame MNS really. He does tell great stories.
I blame whoever advertised his movies... because they amp you up for this totally different story.
Lady in the Water would've been a fun movie.... if it hadn't been advertised as a suspenseful thriller. There were some "woah" moments in the theatre but all in all I went in expecting one thing... and got another.
I think it's just his brand of storytelling... he likes throwing curveballs that drastically alter the movie type. So you're starting to think it's going to be a horror film... then at the end you realize... oh. It's a romantic comedy. How did we end up here? WTF?!
